If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us: |
사람들이 우리를 치려고 일어났을 때에 주께서 우리 편에 계시지 아니하였더라면 |

Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us: |
그때에 그들의 진노가 우리를 향해 타올라 그들이 우리를 산 채로 삼켰을 것이요, |

Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul: |
그때에 물들이 우리를 뒤엎고 시내가 우리의 혼을 덮쳤을 것이며 |

Then the proud waters had gone over our soul. |
그때에 그 도도한 물들이 우리의 혼을 덮쳤으리라, 할지어다. |

Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth. |
우리를 먹이로 그들의 이에 내주지 아니하신 주를 찬송하리로다. |

Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth. |
우리의 도움은 하늘과 땅을 만드신 주의 이름 안에 있도다. |

For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. |
사악한 자의 막대기가 의로운 자들의 구획에 머무르지 못하리니 이것은 의로운 자들이 불법에 손을 대지 못하게 하려 함이로다. |
