LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him! |
주여, 사람이 무엇이기에 주께서 그를 알아주시나이까! 혹은 사람의 아들이 무엇이기에 주께서 그를 중히 여기시나이까! |

Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away. |
사람은 헛된 것과 같고 그의 날들은 지나가는 그림자와 같으니이다. |

Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke. |
오 주여, 주의 하늘들을 휘시고 내려오시며 산들에 손을 대사 그것들이 연기를 내게 하소서. |

Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them. |
번개를 내보내사 그들을 흩으시며 주의 화살들을 쏘아 그들을 멸하소서. |

Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children; |
위에서부터 주의 손을 보내사 나를 큰물들과 낯선 자손의 손에서 빼내어 건지소서. |

I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee. |
오 하나님이여, 내가 주께 새 노래로 노래하며 비파와 십현금에 맞추어 노래로 주를 찬양하리이다. |

It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword. |
그분은 왕들에게 구원을 베푸시는 분이시요, 자신의 종 다윗을 그 해하려는 칼에서 건지시는 분이시로다. |

Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood: |
나를 낯선 자손의 손에서 빼내어 건지소서. 그들의 입은 헛된 것을 말하며 그들의 오른손은 거짓의 오른손이니이다. |

That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace: |
그리하사 우리의 아들들은 어릴 때에 다 자란 초목 같게 하시며 우리의 딸들은 궁궐의 양식대로 빛나게 다듬은 모퉁잇돌 같게 하소서. |

That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets: |
우리의 곳간들은 가득하여 온갖 종류의 것들을 담을 수 있게 하시며 우리의 양들은 우리의 거리에서 수천과 수만을 낳게 하소서. |
