주의 앞에서부터 나에 대한 판결이 나오며 주의 눈이 공평한 일들을 바라보기 원하나이다. |

Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress. |
주께서 내 마음을 시험하셨나이다. 주께서 밤에 나를 찾아오시고 나를 시험하셨으나 아무것도 찾지 못하시리이다. 내가 내 입으로 죄를 짓지 아니할 것을 작정하였나이다. |

Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer. |
사람들의 행위에 관한 한 나는 주의 입술의 말씀으로 나를 지켜서 파멸시키는 자의 행로들을 피하였나이다. |

Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not. |
주의 행로들 안에서 내가 가는 것을 떠받쳐 주사 내 발걸음이 미끄러지지 아니하게 하소서. |

I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech. |
오 하나님이여, 주께서 내 말을 들으실 터이므로 내가 주를 불렀사오니 주의 귀를 내게 기울이사 내 말을 들으소서. |

나를 눈동자같이 지키시고 주의 날개 그늘 밑에 숨기사 |

나를 학대하는 사악한 자들과 나를 둘러싸서 죽이고자 하는 내 원수들로부터 내가 벗어나게 하소서. |

They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly. |
그들은 자기들의 기름에 잠겨 있으며 자기들의 입으로 교만하게 말하나이다. |

우리가 걷는 곳에서 이제 그들이 우리를 에워싸고 땅을 향해 몸을 숙인 채 눈을 고정하되 |

Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places. |
자기의 먹이를 탐내는 사자같이, 은밀한 곳에서 숨어 기다리는 젊은 사자같이 그리하였나이다. |
