A Psalm of David. | The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? |
(다윗의 시) 주는 나의 빛이요, 나의 구원이시니 내가 누구를 두려워하리요? 주는 내 생명의 힘이시니 내가 누구를 무서워하리요? |

When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. |
사악한 자들 곧 나의 원수들, 나의 대적들이 내 살을 먹으려고 내게로 왔다가 걸려서 넘어졌도다. |

|
Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. |
군대가 나를 대적하여 진을 칠지라도 내 마음이 두려워하지 아니하며 전쟁이 나를 대적하여 일어날지라도 내가 이것을 확신하리로다. |

One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. |
내가 주께 바라던 한 가지 일 바로 그것을 구하리니 그것은 곧 내가 평생토록 주의 집에 거하여 주의 아름다움을 바라보며 그분의 성전에서 여쭙는 것이라. |

For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. |
고난의 때에 그분께서 자신의 천막 속에 나를 숨기시고 자신의 장막의 은밀한 곳에 나를 숨기시며 반석 위에 세우시리로다. |

Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. |
오 주여, 내 목소리로 내가 부르짖을 때에 들으시고 또한 내게 긍휼을 베푸사 내게 응답하소서. |

When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek. |
주께서, 너희는 내 얼굴을 찾으라, 하셨을 때에 내 마음이 주께 아뢰기를, 주여, 내가 주의 얼굴을 찾으리이다, 하였나이다. |

Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. |
주의 얼굴을 내게서 멀리 숨기지 마시고 분노하사 주의 종을 버리지 마소서. 주께서 나의 도움이 되셨나이다. 오 내 구원의 하나님이여, 나를 떠나지 마시고 나를 버리지 마소서. |

When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up. |
내 아버지와 어머니가 나를 버릴 때에 주께서는 나를 들어 올리시리이다. |

Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies. |
오 주여, 주의 길을 내게 가르치시고 내 원수들로 인하여 나를 평탄한 길로 인도하소서. |
