(악장에게 준 다윗의 시) 오 주여, 내가 주를 신뢰하오니 내가 결코 부끄러움을 당하지 않게 하소서. 주의 의로 나를 건지소서. |

Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me. |
주의 귀를 내게 기울이사 속히 나를 건지소서. 주는 나의 견고한 반석이 되사 나를 구원할 방벽의 집이 되소서. |

For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. |
주는 나의 반석이시며 나의 요새시오니 그러므로 주의 이름을 위하여 나를 인도하고 지도하소서. |

Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength. |
주는 나의 힘이시오니 그들이 나를 잡으려고 몰래 친 그물에서 나를 빼내소서. |

Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth. |
주의 손에 내 영을 맡기나이다. 오 주 진리의 하나님이여, 주께서 나를 구속하셨나이다. |

I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD. |
내가 거짓되고 헛된 것들에 관심을 두는 자들은 미워하였으되 주는 신뢰하나이다. |

|
I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities; |
내가 주의 긍휼을 기뻐하고 즐거워하리니 주께서 나의 고난을 깊이 살피사 역경에 처한 내 혼을 아셨으며 |

|
And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room. |
또 나를 원수의 손에 가두지 아니하시고 내 발을 넓은 곳에 세우셨나이다. |

|
Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly. |
오 주여, 내가 고난 중에 있사오니 내게 긍휼을 베푸소서. 내 눈이 고통으로 소멸되었사오며 참으로 내 혼과 내 배도 그러하나이다. |

For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed. |
내가 내 삶을 고통 속에 보내며 내 햇수를 탄식 속에 보내오니 내 기력이 내 불법으로 인해 약해지고 내 뼈가 소멸되었나이다. |

|
I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me. |
내가 내 모든 원수들 가운데서 치욕거리가 되었으되 특히 내 이웃들 가운데서 그리되었으며 나를 아는 자들에게 두려움이 되었나니 밖에서 나를 본 자들이 나를 피해 도망하였나이다. |

I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel. |
사람들이 죽은 자를 잊어 생각 속에 두지 아니함 같이 나를 잊었은즉 내가 깨진 그릇과 같나이다. |

|
For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life. |
내가 많은 사람에게 모함을 들었사오니 두려움이 사방에 있나이다. 그들이 나를 치려고 함께 의논하면서 내 생명을 빼앗기로 꾀하였나이다. |

But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God. |
그러나, 오 주여, 나는 주를 신뢰하며 말하기를, 주는 나의 하나님이시니이다, 하였나이다. |

|
My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me. |
내 때가 주의 손에 있사오니 내 원수들의 손에서 나를 건지시고 나를 핍박하는 자들에게서 나를 건지소서. |

|
Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake. |
주의 얼굴을 주의 종에게 비추시고 주의 긍휼로 인하여 나를 구원하소서. |

|
Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave. |
오 주여, 내가 주를 불렀사오니 내가 부끄러움을 당하지 않게 하소서. 사악한 자들은 부끄러움을 당하게 하시고 무덤 속에서 잠잠하게 하시며 |

|
Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous. |
거짓 입술들은 잠잠하게 하소서. 그것들이 의로운 자들을 대적하여 교만하고 무례하게 가혹한 것들을 말하나이다. |

|
Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! |
오 주를 두려워하는 자들을 위하여 주께서 쌓아 두신 주의 선하심 곧 사람들의 아들들 앞에서 주를 신뢰하는 자들을 위하여 주께서 이루신 그 선하심이 어찌 그리 큰지요! |

Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. |
주께서 그들을 주 앞의 은밀한 곳에 숨기사 사람의 교만에서 벗어나게 하시고 그들을 은밀히 천막 안에 두사 혀의 말다툼에서 벗어나게 하시리이다. |

Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city. |
주를 찬송할지어다. 그분께서 견고한 도시에서 자신의 놀라운 친절을 내게 베푸셨도다. |

|
For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee. |
내가 황급한 가운데 말하기를, 주의 눈앞에서 내가 끊어졌나이다, 하였으나 그럼에도 불구하고 내가 주께 부르짖을 때에 나의 간구 소리를 주께서 들으셨나이다. |

O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. |
오 주의 모든 성도들아, 너희는 그분을 사랑하라. 주께서 신실한 자는 보존하시되 교만히 행하는 자는 넘치게 되갚아 주시느니라. |

|
Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD. |
주께 소망을 둔 모든 자들아, 너희는 크게 용기를 내라. 그분께서 너희 마음을 강하게 하시리로다. |
