A Psalm of David. | Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. |
(다윗의 시) 너는 악을 행하는 자들로 인하여 초조해하지 말며 불법을 행하는 자들을 부러워하지 말라. |

|
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. |
그들은 곧 풀같이 베일 것이요, 푸른 채소같이 시들리로다. |

|
Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. |
주를 신뢰하고 선을 행하라. 그리하면 네가 땅에 거하고 참으로 양식을 먹으리로다. |

|
Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. |
너는 또 주를 기뻐하라. 그분께서 네 마음에서 소원한 것들을 네게 주시리라. |

|
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. |
네 길을 주께 맡기고 또 그분을 신뢰하라. 그분께서 그것을 이루시고 |

|
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. |
네 의를 빛같이, 네 판단의 공의를 대낮같이 내놓으시리로다. |

|
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. |
주 안에서 안식하고 끈기 있게 그분을 기다리라. 자기 길에서 형통한 자나 사악한 꾀를 이루는 자로 인하여 초조해하지 말지어다. |

|
Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. |
분노를 그치고 진노를 버리며 결코 악을 행하려고 초조해하지 말지어다. |

|
For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. |
악을 행하는 자들은 끊어지려니와 주를 바라는 자들은 땅을 상속하리라. |

|
For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. |
조금 있으면 사악한 자가 없어지리니 참으로 네가 그의 자리를 부지런히 살필지라도 그것이 없으리로다. |

|
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. |
그러나 온유한 자들은 땅을 상속하며 넘치는 화평 속에서 즐거워하리로다. |

|
The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. |
사악한 자가 의인을 치려고 꾀를 꾸미며 그를 향하여 자기 이를 가는도다. |

|
The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming. |
주께서 그를 비웃으시리니 그분께서 그의 날이 다가옴을 보시는도다. |

|
The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. |
사악한 자들이 칼을 뽑고 자기들의 활을 당겨 가난한 자와 궁핍한 자를 쓰러뜨리며 행실이 올바른 자를 죽이려 하였으나 |

|
Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. |
그들의 칼은 오히려 그들의 심장을 찌르고 그들의 활들은 부러지리로다. |

|
A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. |
한 의로운 사람의 적은 소유가 많은 사악한 자들의 풍부한 재물보다 더 나으니 |

|
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous. |
사악한 자들의 팔은 부러질 터이나 의로운 자들은 주께서 떠받치시는도다. |

|
The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. |
주께서 곧바른 자들의 날들을 아시니 그들의 상속 재산이 영원하리로다. |

| 시 37:19 |
|
They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. |
그들은 악한 때에 부끄러움을 당하지 아니하리니 기근의 날들에 그들이 만족하리로다. |

|
But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. |
그러나 사악한 자들은 멸망하고 주의 원수들은 어린양의 기름같이 되리니 그들은 소멸되고 연기로 소멸되어 사라지리로다. |

|
The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. |
사악한 자는 빌리고 갚지 아니하나 의로운 자는 긍휼을 베풀고 주는도다. |

|
For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off. |
그분께 복을 받은 자들은 땅을 상속하되 그분께 저주를 받은 자들은 끊어지리로다. |

|
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. |
주께서 선한 사람의 걸음을 정하시고 그의 길을 기뻐하시는도다. |

|
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. |
그가 넘어질지라도 완전히 쓰러지지 아니하리니 주께서 자신의 손으로 그를 떠받치시는도다. |

| 시 37:25 |
|
I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. |
내가 젊은 시절을 보내고 이제는 늙었으되 지금까지 의로운 자가 버려지거나 그의 씨가 빵을 구걸하는 것을 보지 못하였도다. |

|
He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. |
그가 항상 긍휼을 베풀고 꾸어 주니 그의 씨가 복을 받는도다. |

|
Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore. |
악에서 떠나고 선을 행하라. 또 영원토록 거하라. |

|
For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. |
주께서 판단의 공의를 사랑하시고 자신의 성도들을 버리지 아니하시나니 그들은 영원히 보존되나 사악한 자의 씨는 끊어지리로다. |

The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever. |
의로운 자는 땅을 상속하고 영원히 그 안에 거하며 |

|
The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. |
의로운 자의 입은 지혜를 말하고 그의 혀는 판단의 공의를 이야기하며 |

|
The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. |
그의 마음속에는 그의 하나님의 법이 있으니 그의 발걸음은 하나도 미끄러지지 아니하리로다. |

|
The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. |
사악한 자가 의로운 자를 지켜보며 그를 죽이려 하나 |

|
The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. |
주께서 그를 사악한 자의 손에 버려두지 아니하시고 그가 심판을 받을 때에도 그를 정죄하지 아니하시리로다. |

|
Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. |
주를 바라고 그분의 길을 지키라. 그리하면 그분께서 너를 높여 땅을 상속받게 하실 것이요, 사악한 자가 끊어질 때에 네가 그것을 보리로다. |

|
I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. |
사악한 자가 큰 권능을 가지고 스스로 푸른 월계수같이 뻗어 나간 것을 내가 보았으나 |

|
Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. |
그가 사라졌으니, 보라, 그가 없어졌도다. 참으로 내가 그를 찾았으나 발견하지 못하였도다. |

|
Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. |
완전한 사람을 주목하고 곧바른 자를 눈여겨볼지어다. 그 사람의 마지막은 화평이니라. |

|
But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off. |
그러나 범법자들은 함께 멸망하리니 사악한 자들의 마지막은 끊어지리로다. |

|
But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble. |
그러나 의로운 자들의 구원은 주에게서 오나니 그분은 고난의 때에 그들의 힘이시로다. |

| 시 37:40 |
|
And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him. |
주께서 그들을 도우시며 그들을 건지시리니 그들이 그분을 신뢰하므로 그분께서 그들을 사악한 자들에게서 건지시고 구원하시리로다. |
