주께서 불법으로 인해 사람을 책망하여 바로잡으실 때에 그의 아름다움을 좀이 먹는 것 같이 소멸시키시나니 분명히 모든 사람은 헛될 뿐이니이다. 셀라. |

Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were. |
오 주여, 나의 기도를 들으시고 나의 부르짖음에 귀를 기울이소서. 내가 눈물을 흘릴 때에 잠잠하지 마옵소서. 나는 주와 함께하는 나그네요, 내 모든 조상들처럼 떠도는 자니이다. |

또 그분께서 새 노래 곧 우리 하나님께 드릴 찬양을 내 입에 두셨으니 많은 사람이 그것을 보고 두려워하여 주를 신뢰하리로다. |

Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. |
주를 신뢰하고 교만한 자나 거짓말에 치우치는 자를 중히 여기지 아니하는 그 사람은 복이 있도다. |

Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. |
오 주 내 하나님이여, 주께서 행하신 놀라운 일이 많고 우리를 향하신 주의 생각이 많으므로 차례대로 그것들을 헤아려 주께 아뢸 수 없나이다. 내가 그것들을 밝히 드러내어 말하려 하여도 그것들이 너무 많아 수를 셀 수 없나이다. |

희생물과 헌물은 주께서 원치 아니하셨나이다. 내 귀를 주께서 여셨고 번제 헌물과 죄 헌물은 주께서 요구하지 아니하셨나이다. |
