내가 말하기를, 주여, 내게 긍휼을 베푸소서. 내가 주께 죄를 지었사오니 내 혼을 고치소서, 하였나이다. |

Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish? |
나의 원수들이 나에 대하여 악담하기를, 그가 어느 때에나 죽고 그의 이름이 사라질까? 하며 |

And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it. |
또 그가 나를 보러 와서는 허망한 것을 말하나이다. 그의 마음이 스스로 불법을 모으매 그가 두루 다니며 그것을 말하나이다. |

나를 미워하는 모든 자들이 나를 향해 함께 수군거리고 나를 쳐서 해치려고 꾀하며 |

An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more. |
말하기를, 나쁜 병이 그에게 굳게 달라붙어 이제 그가 누웠으니 다시는 일어나지 못하리라, 하고 |

But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them. |
그러나, 오 주여, 주께서 내게 긍휼을 베푸시고 나를 일으키사 내가 그들에게 보복하게 하소서. |

By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me. |
내 원수가 나를 누르고 이기지 못하리니 이로써 주께서 내게 호의를 베푸시는 줄을 내가 아나이다. |

And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever. |
나로 말하건대 주께서 나의 순전함 가운데서 나를 떠받치시고 영원히 주의 얼굴 앞에 세우시나이다. |
