(고라의 아들들을 위해 악장에게 준 마스길) 오 하나님이여, 사슴이 물 시내를 찾기에 갈급함같이 내 혼이 주를 찾기에 갈급하나이다. |

My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? |
내 혼이 하나님 곧 살아 계신 하나님을 찾기에 목이 타니 내가 어느 때에 가서 하나님 앞에 보이리요? |

My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God? |
그들이 계속해서 내게 말하기를, 네 하나님이 어디 있느냐? 하므로 내 눈물이 밤낮으로 내 음식이 되었도다. |

|
When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday. |
내가 전에 그 무리 곧 거룩한 날을 지킨 무리와 함께 기쁨과 찬양의 소리를 내며 하나님의 집에 갔으므로 이 일들을 기억할 때에 내가 내 혼을 내 속에서 쏟아 내는도다. |

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance. |
오 내 혼아, 어찌하여 네가 낙심하느냐? 어찌하여 네가 내 속에서 불안해하느냐? 너는 하나님께 소망을 두라. 그분의 얼굴의 도우심으로 인하여 내가 여전히 그분을 찬양하리로다. |

Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. |
주의 폭우 소리에 깊음이 깊음을 부르며 주의 모든 파도와 물결이 내 위로 넘어갔나이다. |

|
Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life. |
그러할지라도 주께서 낮에는 자신의 인자하심을 명령하시며 밤에는 그분의 노래가 내게 있으므로 내가 내 생명의 하나님께 기도하리로다. |

I will say unto God my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? |
내 반석이신 하나님께 내가 말하기를, 주께서 어찌하여 나를 잊으셨나이까? 내가 어찌하여 원수의 학대로 인해 애곡하며 다니나이까? 하리로다. |

As with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto me, Where is thy God? |
내 원수들이 내 뼈를 찌르는 칼같이 나를 모욕하며 날마다 내게 말하기를, 네 하나님이 어디 있느냐? 하는도다. |

오 내 혼아, 어찌하여 네가 낙심하느냐? 어찌하여 네가 내 속에서 불안해하느냐? 너는 하나님께 소망을 두라. 내 얼굴의 건강이시요, 내 하나님이신 그분을 내가 여전히 찬양하리로다. |
