(고라의 아들들을 위해 소산님에 맞추어 악장에게 준 마스길, 사랑의 노래) 내 마음이 좋은 일을 읊으리라. 내가 왕에 관하여 지은 것들을 말하리니 내 혀는 능숙한 문장가의 펜이로다. |

Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever. |
왕은 사람들의 자녀들보다 더욱 아름다우시니 왕의 입술에 은혜가 넘치나이다. 그러므로 하나님께서 왕을 영원히 복되게 하셨나이다. |

Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty. |
오 지극히 능하신 이여, 왕의 검을 넓적다리에 차시고 왕의 영광과 위엄을 두르소서. |

And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. |
진리와 온유함과 의로 인하여 왕의 위엄 속에서 형통하게 말을 타소서. 왕의 오른손이 왕에게 두려운 일들을 가르치리이다. |

Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. |
오 하나님이여, 주의 왕좌는 영원무궁하오며 주의 왕국의 홀(笏)은 의로운 홀이니이다. |

Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. |
왕이 의를 사랑하시고 악을 미워하시니 그러므로 하나님 곧 왕의 하나님께서 즐거움의 기름으로 왕에게 기름을 부어 왕의 동료들보다 높이셨나이다. |

All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad. |
왕의 모든 옷은 상아 궁궐에서 나오는 몰약과 알로에와 계피의 향내를 풍기오니 그들이 그것들로 왕을 즐겁게 하였나이다. |

Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir. |
왕의 존귀한 여인들 가운데는 왕들의 딸들이 있었으며 왕비는 오빌의 금으로 꾸미고 왕의 오른쪽에 서 있었나이다. |

Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house; |
오 딸이여, 듣고 깊이 생각하며 귀를 기울일지어다. 또한 네 백성과 네 아버지 집을 잊을지어다. |
