To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bath-sheba. | Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. |
(악장에게 준 다윗의 시, 그가 밧세바에게로 들어간 뒤에 대언자 나단이 그에게 왔을 때에 지은 시) 오 하나님이여, 주의 인자하심에 따라 내게 긍휼을 베푸시며 주의 친절한 긍휼의 풍성함에 따라 내 범법들을 지워 주소서. |

Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. |
내 불법에서 나를 철저히 씻기시며 내 죄에서 나를 정결하게 하소서. |

|
For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. |
내가 내 범법들을 시인하오니 내 죄가 항상 내 앞에 있나이다. |

|
Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. |
내가 주께만 오직 주께만 죄를 짓고 주의 눈앞에서 이 악을 행하였사오니 이로써 주께서 말씀하실 때에 의롭게 되시고 판단하실 때에 깨끗하시리이다. |

|
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. |
보소서, 내가 불법 가운데서 형성되었으며 내 어머니가 죄 가운데서 나를 수태하였나이다. |

|
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. |
보소서, 주께서는 속 부분에 있는 진실함을 원하시오니 나로 하여금 은밀한 부분에 있는 지혜를 알게 하시리이다. |

|
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. |
우슬초로 나를 정결하게 하소서. 내가 깨끗하게 되리이다. 나를 씻기소서. 내가 눈보다 더 희게 되리이다. |

|
Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. |
나로 하여금 기쁨과 즐거움의 소리를 듣게 하사 주께서 꺾으신 뼈들이 기뻐하게 하소서. |

|
Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. |
주의 얼굴을 내 죄들에서 가리시고 내 모든 불법을 지워 주소서. |

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. |
오 하나님이여, 내 안에 깨끗한 마음을 창조하시고 내 속에 올바른 영을 새롭게 하소서. |

Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. |
나를 주의 앞에서 쫓아내지 마시고 주의 거룩한 영을 내게서 거두지 마소서. |

|
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. |
주의 구원의 기쁨을 내게 회복시켜 주시고 주의 자유로운 영으로 나를 떠받쳐 주소서. |

Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. |
그리하시면 내가 범법자들에게 주의 길들을 가르치리니 죄인들이 주께로 회심하리이다. |

|
Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. |
오 하나님이여, 내 구원의 하나님이여, 피 흘린 죄에서 나를 건지소서. 그리하시면 내 혀가 주의 의를 크게 노래하리이다. |

|
O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. |
오 주여, 주께서 내 입술을 열어 주소서. 내 입이 주의 찬양을 전하리이다. |

|
For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. |
주께서는 희생물을 원치 아니하시나니 그렇지 아니하면 내가 그것을 드렸으리이다. 주께서는 번제 헌물을 기뻐하지 아니하시나이다. |

|
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. |
하나님께서 구하시는 희생물은 상한 영이라. 오 하나님이여, 상하고 통회하는 마음을 주께서 멸시하지 아니하시리이다. |

|
Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. |
주께서 주의 선하신 즐거움으로 시온에게 선을 베푸시고 예루살렘의 성벽들을 쌓으소서. |

|
Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar. |
그때에 주께서 의의 희생물과 번제 헌물과 전체를 드리는 번제 헌물을 기뻐하시리니 그때에 그들이 주의 제단 위에 수소들을 드리리이다. |
