To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, A Psalm of David. | Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul. |
(소산님에 맞추어 악장에게 준 다윗의 시) 오 하나님이여, 나를 구원하소서. 물들이 내 혼에까지 들어왔나이다. |

|
I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me. |
내가 설 곳이 없는 깊은 수렁에 빠지고 깊은 물들 속으로 들어갔사오니 거기서 큰물들이 내 위에 넘치나이다. |

|
I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God. |
내가 부르짖음으로 피곤하고 내 목이 마르며 나의 하나님을 기다리는 동안 내 눈이 쇠하나이다. |

시 69:4 |
|
They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away. |
까닭 없이 나를 미워하는 자들이 내 머리털보다 더 많으며 부당하게 나의 원수가 되어 나를 멸하려는 자들이 강하므로 이에 내가 빼앗지 아니한 것도 되돌려주었나이다. |

O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee. |
오 하나님이여, 주께서 나의 어리석음을 아시오니 내 죄들이 주께 숨겨지지 아니하였나이다. |

|
Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face. |
내가 주를 위하여 치욕을 짊어졌으므로 수치가 나의 얼굴을 덮었나이다. |

I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children. |
내가 내 형제들에게는 낯선 자가 되고 내 어머니의 자녀들에게는 외인이 되었사오니 |

|
For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me. |
주의 집에 대한 열심이 나를 삼켰고 주를 모욕하는 자들의 모욕이 나를 덮쳤나이다. |

When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach. |
내가 울며 금식으로 내 혼을 징계할 때에 그것이 내게 모욕거리가 되었고 |

|
I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them. |
또 내가 굵은 베로 내 옷을 삼았더니 내가 그들에게 속담거리가 되었나이다. |
