A Psalm of Asaph. | Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart. |
(아삽의 시) 진실로 하나님은 이스라엘에게 곧 마음이 깨끗한 자에게 선하시도다. |

|
But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped. |
그러나 나로 말하건대 내 발은 거의 지나갈 뻔하였고 내 걸음은 미끄러질 뻔하였으니 |

|
For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. |
이는 내가 사악한 자들의 번영을 보고 어리석은 자들을 부러워하였기 때문이로다. |

|
For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm. |
그들은 죽을 때에도 조이는 끈이 없고 오히려 힘이 강건하며 |

|
They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men. |
다른 사람들같이 고난 중에 있지도 아니하고 다른 사람들같이 재앙을 당하지도 아니하나니 |

|
Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment. |
그러므로 교만이 사슬처럼 그들을 두르고 폭력이 옷처럼 그들을 감싸는도다. |

|
Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish. |
그들의 눈은 기름져서 솟아오르고 그들이 가진 것은 마음이 원하는 것보다 더 많으며 |

|
They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily. |
그들은 부패한 자로서 학대하는 것에 관하여 악하게 말하고 거만하게 말하며 |

|
They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth. |
그들의 입은 하늘들을 대적하며 놓여 있고 그들의 혀는 땅을 활보하는도다. |

|
Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them. |
그러므로 그분의 백성이 여기로 돌아오매 그들이 잔에 가득한 물을 쥐어짜서 그들에게 부으며 |

|
And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High? |
말하기를, 하나님이 어찌 아시느냐? 지극히 높으신 이에게 지식이 있느냐? 하는도다. |

|
Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches. |
보라, 이들은 경건치 아니한 자들이로되 세상에서 형통하며 재물을 불리는도다. |

|
Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency. |
내가 내 마음을 깨끗하게 하며 내 손을 무죄함 속에서 씻은 것이 참으로 헛되니 |

|
For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning. |
내가 종일토록 재앙을 당하며 아침마다 징계를 당하였도다. |

|
If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children. |
내가 만일 이르기를, 내가 이렇게 말하리라, 하면, 보소서, 내가 주의 자녀들의 세대를 향하여 죄를 지으리이다. |

| 시 73:16 |
|
When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; |
내가 이것을 알려고 생각한즉 그것이 내게 너무 심한 아픔이 되었는데 |

|
Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. |
하나님의 성소에 들어갔을 때에야 비로소 그들의 종말을 내가 깨달았나이다. |

|
Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. |
분명히 주께서 그들을 미끄러운 곳에 두시며 그들을 던지사 파멸에 이르게 하셨나이다. |

| 시 73:19 |
|
How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. |
그들이 어찌 그리 순식간에 황폐하게 되었나이까! 그들이 두려움으로 완전히 소멸되었나이다. |

| 시 73:20 |
|
As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image. |
오 주여, 사람이 깬 뒤에 꿈을 멸시하는 것 같이 주께서 깨시면 그들의 형상을 멸시하시리이다. |

|
Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins. |
이와 같이 내 마음이 괴로우며 내가 내 속 중심에서 찔렸나이다. |

|
So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee. |
내가 이같이 어리석고 무지하므로 주 앞에 짐승 같았사오나 |

| 시 73:23 |
|
Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand. |
그럼에도 불구하고 내가 항상 주와 함께 있으니 주께서 내 오른손을 붙드셨나이다. |

|
Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. |
주께서 주의 권고로 나를 인도하시고 나중에는 영광으로 나를 받아주시리니 |

| 시 73:25 |
|
Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. |
하늘에서는 주 외에 누가 내게 있나이까? 땅에서는 주 외에 내가 사모할 자가 아무도 없나이다. |

|
My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. |
내 육체와 내 마음이 쇠약하오나 하나님은 내 마음의 힘이시요, 영원토록 내 몫이니이다. |

| 시 73:27 |
|
For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee. |
보소서, 주를 멀리하는 자들은 망하리니 주를 떠나 음행의 길을 가는 모든 자들을 주께서 멸하셨나이다. |

| 시 73:28 |
|
But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works. |
오직 하나님께 가까이 나아감이 내게 좋사오니 내가 주 하나님을 신뢰하였으므로 주께서 행하신 모든 일을 밝히 보이리이다. |
