보소서, 주를 멀리하는 자들은 망하리니 주를 떠나 음행의 길을 가는 모든 자들을 주께서 멸하셨나이다. |

But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works. |
오직 하나님께 가까이 나아감이 내게 좋사오니 내가 주 하나님을 신뢰하였으므로 주께서 행하신 모든 일을 밝히 보이리이다. |

(아삽의 마스길) 오 하나님이여, 주께서 어찌하여 우리를 영원히 내던지셨나이까? 주께서 어찌하여 주의 초장의 양들을 향해 주의 분노의 연기를 뿜으시나이까? |

Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt. |
주께서 옛적에 사신 주의 회중과 주께서 구속하신 주의 상속 막대기를 기억하시오며 주께서 거하시던 이 시온 산도 기억하소서. |

Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary. |
주의 발을 영구히 황폐한 것 즉 원수가 성소에서 악하게 행한 모든 것 쪽으로 드소서. |

A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees. |
전에는 사람이 도끼를 들어 굵은 나무들을 찍음으로 유명하게 되었으나 |

이제는 그들이 도끼와 망치로 그곳의 조각품을 단번에 쳐서 부수고 |

They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of thy name to the ground. |
주의 성소에 불을 지르며 주의 이름이 있는 거처를 땅에 내던짐으로 그것을 더럽혔나이다. |

They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land. |
그들이 마음속으로 이르기를, 우리가 그것들을 함께 멸하자, 하고 그 땅에 있는 하나님의 모든 회당을 불태웠나이다. |

|
We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long. |
우리가 우리의 표적들을 보지 못하니 대언자도 더 이상 없으며 이 일이 얼마나 오래 갈지 아는 자도 우리 가운데 없나이다. |
