주는 산더미 같은 탈취물보다 더 영화로우시며 뛰어나시나이다. |

용맹한 자들은 노략을 당하고 잠들었으며 용사들 중의 아무도 자기 손을 찾지 못하였도다. |

At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep. |
오 야곱의 하나님이여, 주께서 꾸짖으시매 병거와 말이 다 깊은 잠에 빠졌나이다. |

Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry? |
주 곧 주는 두려워할 분이시니 주께서 한 번 분노하시면 누가 주의 눈앞에 서리이까? |

Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still, |
주께서 하늘로부터 판결을 들려주시매 땅이 두려워하고 잠잠하였사오니 |

확실히 사람의 진노가 주를 찬양할 것이요, 그 진노의 남은 부분은 주께서 억제하시리이다. |
