My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: |
내 아들아, 내 법을 잊지 말고 네 마음이 내 명령들을 지키게 할지어다. |

|
For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. |
그것들이 네게 많은 날과 오래 사는 것과 화평을 더하리라. |

| 잠 3:3 |
|
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: |
긍휼과 진리가 네게서 떠나지 말게 하고 그것들을 네 목에 매며 네 마음 판에 기록하라. |

| 잠 3:4 |
|
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. |
그리하면 네가 하나님과 사람의 눈앞에서 호의와 선한 명철을 얻으리라. |

| 잠 3:5 |
|
¶ Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. |
¶ 네 마음을 다하여 주를 신뢰하고 네 자신의 명철을 의지하지 말지어다. |

| 잠 3:6 |
|
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. |
네 모든 길에서 그분을 인정하라. 그리하면 그분께서 네 행로들을 지도하시리라. |

| 잠 3:7 |
|
¶ Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. |
¶ 네 눈에 지혜롭게 되지 말지어다. 주를 두려워하며 악을 떠날지어다. |

| 잠 3:8 |
|
It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. |
그것이 네 배꼽에 건강이 되며 네 뼈에 골수가 되리라. |

| 잠 3:9 |
|
Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: |
네 재물과 네 모든 소출의 첫 열매로 주를 공경하라. |

| 잠 3:10 |
|
So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. |
그리하면 네 창고가 가득히 차고 네 포도즙 틀이 새 포도즙으로 터져 넘치리라. |

| 잠 3:11 |
|
¶ My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: |
¶ 내 아들아, 주의 징계를 멸시하지 말며 그분께서 바로잡아 주시는 것에 싫증을 내지 말라. |

| 잠 3:12 |
|
For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. |
아버지가 자기가 기뻐하는 아들을 바로잡아 주는 것 같이 주께서 자신이 사랑하는 자를 바로잡아 주시느니라. |

| 잠 3:13 |
|
¶ Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. |
¶ 지혜를 찾는 자와 명철을 얻는 자는 행복하니 |

| 잠 3:14 |
|
For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. |
지혜를 거래하는 것이 은을 거래하는 것보다 나으며 그것의 이익이 정금보다 나으니라. |

| 잠 3:15 |
|
She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. |
지혜는 루비보다 귀하니 네가 바랄 수 있는 모든 것이 그것과 비교될 수 없도다. |

| 잠 3:16 |
|
Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. |
지혜의 오른손에는 많은 날이 있고 지혜의 왼손에는 재물과 명예가 있나니 |

| 잠 3:17 |
|
Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. |
지혜의 길들은 즐거운 길이요, 지혜의 모든 행로는 화평이니라. |

| 잠 3:18 |
|
She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. |
지혜는 그것을 붙잡는 자들에게 생명나무니 그것을 간직하는 자는 다 행복하도다. |

| 잠 3:19 |
|
The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. |
주께서는 지혜로 땅의 기초를 놓으셨으며 명철로 하늘들을 굳게 세우셨도다. |

| 잠 3:20 |
|
By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew. |
그분의 지식으로 말미암아 깊음들이 터져 오르며 구름들이 이슬을 내리는도다. |

| 잠 3:21 |
|
¶ My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: |
¶ 내 아들아, 그것들이 네 눈에서 떠나지 말게 하고 건전한 지혜와 분별을 지킬지어다. |
# |
| 잠 3:22 |
|
So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck. |
그리하면 그것들이 네 혼에게 생명이 되고 네 목에 은혜가 되리니 |

| 잠 3:23 |
|
Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. |
그런즉 네가 네 길에서 안전히 걸으며 네 발이 걸려 넘어지지 아니하리라. |

| 잠 3:24 |
|
When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. |
네가 누울 때에 무서워하지 아니하리니 참으로 네가 누운즉 네 잠이 달리로다. |
# |
| 잠 3:25 |
|
Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. |
갑작스러운 두려움이나 사악한 자가 황폐하게 하는 일이 올 때에 그것을 무서워하지 말라. |

| 잠 3:26 |
|
For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken. |
주께서 네 확신이 되시므로 네 발을 지켜 거기 걸려들지 아니하게 하시리라. |

| 잠 3:27 |
|
¶ Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. |
¶ 네 손 안에 선을 베풀 힘이 있거든 마땅히 그것을 받을 자들에게 선 베풀기를 금하지 말며 |

| 잠 3:28 |
|
Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee. |
그것이 네 곁에 있거든 네 이웃에게 이르기를, 갔다가 다시 오라. 내가 내일 주리라, 하지 말고 |

| 잠 3:29 |
|
Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee. |
네 이웃이 네 곁에서 안전히 거하는 것을 보거든 그를 해하려고 악을 꾀하지 말라. |

| 잠 3:30 |
|
¶ Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm. |
¶ 사람이 네게 악을 행하지 아니하였거든 까닭 없이 그와 다투지 말라. |

| 잠 3:31 |
|
¶ Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways. |
¶ 너는 학대하는 자를 부러워하지 말며 그의 길들 중 어떤 길도 택하지 말라. |

| 잠 3:32 |
|
For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous. |
비뚤어진 자는 주께 가증한 자니라. 그러나 의로운 자에게는 그분의 은밀한 일이 함께하느니라. |

| 잠 3:33 |
|
¶ The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just. |
¶ 사악한 자의 집에는 주의 저주가 있거니와 의인의 처소는 그분께서 복을 주시느니라. |

| 잠 3:34 |
|
Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly. |
참으로 그분께서는 비웃는 자들을 비웃으시나 겸손한 자들에게는 은혜를 베푸시느니라. |

| 잠 3:35 |
|
The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools. |
지혜로운 자는 영광을 상속받되 어리석은 자가 높여지는 것은 수치가 되리로다. |
