Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said, |
그때에 나아마 사람 소발이 응답하여 이르되, |

|
Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified? |
많은 말에 대해 대답해야 하지 아니하겠느냐? 말로 가득한 사람이 의롭게 되겠느냐? |

| 욥 11:3 |
|
Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed? |
네 거짓말이 사람들을 잠잠하게 하겠느냐? 네가 조롱할 때에 아무도 너를 부끄럽게 하지 못하겠느냐? |

| 욥 11:4 |
|
For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes. |
네가 말하기를, 내 교리는 순수하고 나는 주의 눈에 깨끗하나이다, 하였도다. |

|
But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee; |
그러나 원하건대 하나님께서 말씀하시고 자신의 입술을 여사 너를 치시며 |

| 욥 11:6 |
|
And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth. |
지혜의 은밀한 것들을 네게 보여 주시되 그것들이 지금 있는 것의 두 배나 됨을 보여 주시기를 바라노라! 그런즉 하나님께서 너로부터 네 불법에 상응하는 것보다 적게 취하시는 줄 알지니라. |

Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection? |
네가 조사한다고 하나님을 찾아낼 수 있겠느냐? 네가 전능자를 완전히 찾아낼 수 있겠느냐? |

| 욥 11:8 |
|
It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know? |
그것은 하늘만큼이나 높으니 네가 무엇을 하겠느냐? 또 지옥보다도 깊으니 네가 무엇을 알겠느냐? |

| 욥 11:9 |
|
The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea. |
그것의 한계가 땅보다 길고 바다보다 넓으니라. |

| 욥 11:10 |
|
If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him? |
그분께서 끊으시고 가두시며 함께 모으시면 누가 능히 그분을 막겠느냐? |

| 욥 11:11 |
|
For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it? |
그분께서 허망한 사람들을 아시고 사악함도 보시나니 그런즉 그분께서 그것을 깊이 생각하지 아니하시겠느냐? |

| 욥 11:12 |
|
For vain man would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass's colt. |
사람이 들나귀 새끼같이 태어날지라도 허망한 사람은 지혜롭게 되고자 하느니라. |

|
If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him; |
만일 네가 네 마음을 예비하고 그분을 향하여 네 손을 내밀 때에 |

| 욥 11:14 |
|
If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles. |
네 손에 불법이 있거든 그것을 멀리 버려서 사악함이 네 장막들 안에 거하지 못하게 하라. |

| 욥 11:15 |
|
For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear: |
그리하면 네가 흠 없이 네 얼굴을 들리라. 참으로 네가 굳건하여 두려워하지 아니하리니 |

| 욥 11:16 |
|
Because thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away: |
이는 네가 네 고통을 잊고 그것을 흘러가는 물로 기억할 것이기 때문이라. |

| 욥 11:17 |
|
And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday; thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning. |
또 네 일생이 대낮보다 더 밝으리니 네가 빛을 발하여 아침같이 되고 |

| 욥 11:18 |
|
And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety. |
또 소망이 있으므로 네가 안전하며 참으로 네 주위를 파고 안전히 안식하리로다. |

| 욥 11:19 |
|
Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee. |
또한 네가 누워도 아무도 너를 두렵게 하지 못하겠고 참으로 많은 사람이 네게 간청하리라. |
# |
| 욥 11:20 |
|
But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost. |
그러나 사악한 자들의 눈은 쇠하여 그들이 도망하지 못하리니 그들의 소망은 숨을 거두는 것과 같으리라, 하니라. |
