Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said, |
그때에 수아 사람 빌닷이 응답하여 이르되, |

|
How long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind? |
네가 어느 때까지 이런 것들을 말하려느냐? 어느 때까지 네 입의 말들이 거센 바람 같겠느냐? |

|
Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice? |
하나님께서 판단의 공의를 굽게 하시느냐? 전능자께서 정의를 굽게 하시느냐? |

| 욥 8:4 |
|
If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression; |
네 자녀들이 그분께 죄를 지었으므로 그분께서 그들의 범법으로 인해 그들을 내버리셨을지라도 |

| 욥 8:5 |
|
If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty; |
네가 만일 늦기 전에 하나님께 구하고 전능자께 간구하며 |

| 욥 8:6 |
|
If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous. |
또 네가 순수하고 곧바르면 이제 그분께서 반드시 너를 위해 깨어나사 네 의가 거하는 처소를 형통하게 하시리니 |

|
Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase. |
비록 네 시작은 작을지라도 네 마지막 끝은 심히 크게 되리라. |

|
For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers: |
원하건대 너는 이전 시대 사람들에게 물으며 네 자신을 예비하여 그들의 조상들이 탐구한 바에 주의를 기울이라. |

|
(For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:) |
(우리는 겨우 어제부터 있었을 뿐이며 또 땅 위에 있는 우리의 날들은 그림자이므로 우리가 아무것도 알지 못하느니라.) |

|
Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart? |
그들이 네게 가르치고 네게 말하며 자기 마음에서 나온 말들을 말하지 아니하겠느냐? |

|
Can the rush grow up without mire? can the flag grow without water? |
골풀이 진흙도 없이 자라겠느냐? 아마가 물도 없이 자라겠느냐? |

| 욥 8:12 |
|
Whilst it is yet in his greenness, and not cut down, it withereth before any other herb. |
그것은 푸른 기가 여전하고 베이지도 아니하였으나 다른 채소보다 먼저 시드느니라. |

|
So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish: |
하나님을 잊어버리는 모든 자의 행로들도 그와 같으며 위선자의 소망은 사라지리니 |

|
Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider's web. |
그의 소망은 끊어지고 그가 신뢰하는 것은 거미줄이 되리라. |

|
He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure. |
그가 자기 집에 기댈지라도 그 집이 서지 못하며 그가 그 집을 굳게 붙들지라도 그 집이 견디지 못하리라. |

|
He is green before the sun, and his branch shooteth forth in his garden. |
그는 해 앞에서 푸르며 그의 가지는 그의 정원에서 뻗어나가고 |

|
His roots are wrapped about the heap, and seeth the place of stones. |
그의 뿌리들은 무더기를 감싸며 돌들이 있는 곳을 보는도다. |

|
If he destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him, saying, I have not seen thee. |
그분께서 그의 자리에서 그를 떼 내어 멸하시면 그의 자리도 그를 부인하며 이르기를, 내가 너를 보지 못하였다, 하리라. |

| 욥 8:19 |
|
Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow. |
보라, 그의 길의 기쁨은 이와 같으니 다른 자들이 그 땅에서 자라나리로다. |

|
Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers: |
보라, 하나님은 완전한 사람을 버리지 아니하시며 악을 행하는 자들을 돕지도 아니하시고 |

| 욥 8:21 |
|
Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing. |
마침내 네 입을 웃음으로, 네 입술을 기쁨으로 채우시리라. |

| 욥 8:22 |
|
They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought. |
너를 미워하는 자들은 수치로 옷 입을 것이요, 사악한 자들의 거처는 없어지리라, 하니라. |
