Elihu also proceeded, and said, |
엘리후가 또 계속해서 말하되, |

| 욥 36:2 |
|
Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God's behalf. |
조금만 나를 용납하라. 내가 하나님을 대신하여 아직도 할 말이 있음을 그대에게 보이겠노라. |

| 욥 36:3 |
|
I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker. |
내가 먼 데서 내 지식을 가져오고 나를 만드신 분에게 의를 돌리리라. |

| 욥 36:4 |
|
For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee. |
진실로 내 말들은 거짓되지 아니하리니 지식이 완전하신 이가 그대와 함께 계시느니라. |

| 욥 36:5 |
|
Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom. |
보라, 하나님은 강력하시고 아무도 멸시하지 아니하시며 권능과 지혜가 강력하사 |

| 욥 36:6 |
|
He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor. |
사악한 자들의 생명을 보존하지 아니하시고 가난한 자들에게 정당한 것을 주시며 |

| 욥 36:7 |
|
He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted. |
자신의 눈을 의로운 자들에게서 떼지 아니하시고 그들이 왕들과 함께 왕좌에 있게 하시는도다. 참으로 그분께서 그들을 영원토록 굳게 세우시니 그들이 높여졌도다. |

|
And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction; |
혹시라도 그들이 족쇄에 매이고 고난의 줄에 얽혔으면 |

| 욥 36:9 |
|
Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded. |
그때에 그분께서 그들의 행위와 그들이 지나쳐서 범한 범법들을 그들에게 보여 주시고 |

| 욥 36:10 |
|
He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity. |
또 그들의 귀를 열어 훈계하시며 명령하사 그들이 불법에서 돌아오게 하시나니 |

| 욥 36:11 |
|
If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. |
만일 그들이 순종하고 그분을 섬기면 형통한 가운데 자기의 날들을 보내며 즐거운 가운데 자기의 해들을 보낼 것이로되 |

| 욥 36:12 |
|
But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge. |
만일 그들이 순종하지 아니하면 칼에 망하고 지식 없이 죽을 것이니라. |

| 욥 36:13 |
|
But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them. |
오직 마음에서 위선을 행하는 자들은 진노를 무더기같이 쌓아 올리며 그분께서 자기들을 결박하실지라도 부르짖지 아니하나니 |

| 욥 36:14 |
|
They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean. |
그들은 젊어서 죽으며 그들의 생명은 부정한 자들 가운데 있도다. |

| 욥 36:15 |
|
He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression. |
그분께서는 가난한 자를 그의 고난 중에서 건지시며 또 학대당할 때에 그들의 귀를 여시나니 |

| 욥 36:16 |
|
Even so would he have removed thee out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and that which should be set on thy table should be full of fatness. |
바로 그와 같이 그분께서 그대를 곤경 속에서 이끌어 내사 곤경이 없는 넓은 곳으로 옮기려 하셨은즉 그대의 상에 차려질 것이 기름진 것으로 가득하리라. |

|
But thou hast fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on thee. |
그러나 그대가 사악한 자가 받을 심판을 이루었으니 판단의 공의와 정의가 그대를 붙잡는도다. |

| 욥 36:18 |
|
Because there is wrath, beware lest he take thee away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver thee. |
진노가 임하였으니 그대는 주의하여 그분께서 그대를 쳐서 제거하지 아니하시도록 하라. 그때에는 큰 대속물도 그대를 건지지 못하리라. |

| 욥 36:19 |
|
Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength. |
그분께서 그대의 재물을 귀히 여기시겠느냐? 아니라. 금도 아니요, 기력의 모든 힘도 아니라. |

| 욥 36:20 |
|
Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place. |
그대는 밤 곧 백성들이 자기 처소에서 끊어지는 때를 사모하지 말라. |
# |
| 욥 36:21 |
|
Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction. |
그대는 조심하여 불법에 관심을 두지 말라. 그대가 고난보다도 이것을 택하였느니라. |
# |
| 욥 36:22 |
|
Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him? |
보라, 하나님은 자신의 권능으로 말미암아 높이 계시나니 누가 그분같이 가르치겠느냐? |
# |
| 욥 36:23 |
|
Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast wrought iniquity? |
누가 그분을 위하여 그분의 길을 명하였느냐? 또는 누가 말하기를, 주께서 불법을 행하셨나이다, 할 수 있으랴? |

| 욥 36:24 |
|
Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold. |
그대는 기억하여 그분께서 하신 일 곧 사람들이 주목하는 일을 높일지어다. |

| 욥 36:25 |
|
Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off. |
사람마다 그것을 보며 사람이 먼 곳에서도 그것을 보리로다. |
# |
| 욥 36:26 |
|
Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out. |
보라, 하나님은 위대하시므로 우리가 그분을 알지 못하며 그분의 햇수를 헤아릴 수도 없느니라. |

| 욥 36:27 |
|
For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof: |
그분께서 물방울들을 작게 만드시매 그것들이 그것들의 수증기대로 비를 쏟나니 |

| 욥 36:28 |
|
Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly. |
구름들이 그것들을 떨어뜨리고 사람 위에 풍성히 내려 주느니라. |

|
Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle? |
또한 그분께서 구름을 펴신 것이나 자신의 성막에서 요란한 소리를 내시는 것을 누가 능히 깨달을 수 있으랴? |

| 욥 36:30 |
|
Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea. |
보라, 그분께서 그것 위에 자신의 빛을 펼치시고 바다의 밑바닥을 덮으시나니 |

| 욥 36:31 |
|
For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance. |
그것들로 그분께서 백성들을 심판하시며 먹을 것을 풍성히 주시느니라. |

| 욥 36:32 |
|
With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt. |
그분께서 구름들로 빛을 가리시며 중간에 있는 구름으로 그것이 빛을 내지 못하게 명령하시나니 |

| 욥 36:33 |
|
The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour. |
그것의 요란한 소리가 그것에 관하여 보여 주며 가축들도 수증기에 관하여 알려 주느니라. |
