Call now, if there be any that will answer thee; and to which of the saints wilt thou turn? |
네게 응답할 자가 있거든 이제 부르라. 네가 성도들 중에 누구에게로 향하겠느냐? |

|
For wrath killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one. |
진노는 어리석은 자를 죽이고 시기는 미련한 자를 죽이느니라. |

|
I have seen the foolish taking root: but suddenly I cursed his habitation. |
어리석은 자가 뿌리 내리는 것을 내가 보았으되 즉시 그의 처소를 저주하였노라. |

|
His children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the gate, neither is there any to deliver them. |
그의 자녀들은 안전에서 멀리 떨어져 있고 그들이 성문에서 짓눌리되 그들을 건져 내는 자가 없으며 |

|
Whose harvest the hungry eateth up, and taketh it even out of the thorns, and the robber swalloweth up their substance. |
그들이 수확한 것은 주린 자가 먹고 가시나무에서 난 그것도 가져가며 강도가 그들의 재산을 삼키는도다. |

|
Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground; |
고통은 티끌에서 생기지 아니하며 고난은 흙에서 솟아나지 아니할지라도 |

|
Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward. |
불티가 위로 날아가는 것 같이 사람은 고생하려고 태어나느니라. |

|
I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause: |
나는 하나님께 구하겠고 내 사정을 하나님께 맡기리라. |

|
Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number: |
그분은 크고 헤아릴 수 없는 일들을 행하시며 놀라운 일들을 수도 없이 행하시고 |

|
Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields: |
비를 땅에 내리시며 물을 들에 보내시고 |

| 욥 5:11 |
|
To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety. |
낮은 자들을 높이 세우시나니 이것은 애곡하는 자들을 높이사 안전한 곳에 두려 하심이니라. |

| 욥 5:12 |
|
He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise. |
그분은 간교한 자들의 계략을 실패로 돌리사 그들의 손이 그들이 경영하는 바를 이루지 못하게 하시며 |

| 욥 5:13 |
|
He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong. |
지혜로운 자들을 자기들의 간계에 빠지게 하시고 거역하는 자들의 계략을 거꾸러뜨리시므로 |

| 욥 5:14 |
|
They meet with darkness in the daytime, and grope in the noonday as in the night. |
그들이 낮에 어둠을 만나고 대낮에도 밤처럼 더듬느니라. |

|
But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty. |
그러나 그분은 가난한 자들을 칼과 그들의 입과 강력한 자들의 손에서 구원하시나니 |

|
So the poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth. |
그러므로 가난한 자들에게 소망이 있고 불법이 스스로 입을 다무느니라. |

|
Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty: |
보라, 하나님께서 바로잡아 주시는 자는 행복한 자니 그런즉 너는 전능자의 징계를 업신여기지 말지니라. |

| 욥 5:18 |
|
For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole. |
그분께서는 아프게 하시다가 싸매시며 상하게 하시다가 자신의 손으로 온전하게 하시느니라. |

|
He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee. |
그분께서 여섯 가지 고난 중에서 너를 건지시며 참으로 일곱 가지 고난 중에서도 재앙이 결코 네게 손을 대지 못하게 하시고 |

|
In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword. |
기근을 당할 때는 죽음에서, 전쟁을 벌일 때는 칼의 권세에서 너를 구속하실 터인즉 |

|
Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh. |
네가 혀의 채찍을 피하여 숨을 것이며 또 멸망이 닥칠 때에 그것을 무서워하지 아니하리라. |

| 욥 5:22 |
|
At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth. |
네가 멸망과 기근을 비웃으며 또 땅의 짐승들을 무서워하지 아니하리니 |

| 욥 5:23 |
|
For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee. |
네가 들의 돌들과 동맹을 맺고 들의 짐승들이 너와 화목하리라. |

| 욥 5:24 |
|
And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin. |
이로써 네 장막이 평안한 줄을 네가 알며 네 처소를 보러 가서 죄를 짓지 아니하고 |

| 욥 5:25 |
|
Thou shalt know also that thy seed shall be great, and thine offspring as the grass of the earth. |
또 네 씨가 크게 되며 네 후손이 땅의 풀과 같이 될 줄도 네가 알고 |

| 욥 5:26 |
|
Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in in his season. |
곡식 단이 제때에 들어가는 것 같이 네가 장수를 누리다가 네 무덤에 이르리라. |

|
Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know thou it for thy good. |
이것을 보라. 우리가 그것을 살펴본 대로 그것이 그러한즉 너는 그것을 듣고 네 유익을 위해 그것을 알지니라, 하니라. |
