Lo, mine eye hath seen all this, mine ear hath heard and understood it. |
보라, 내 눈이 이 모든 것을 보았고 내 귀가 그것을 듣고 깨달았느니라. |

|
What ye know, the same do I know also: I am not inferior unto you. |
너희가 아는 것, 바로 그것을 나도 아노니 내가 너희보다 못하지 아니하니라. |

| 욥 13:3 |
|
Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God. |
참으로 나는 전능자에게 아뢰고자 하며 하나님과 변론하기를 원하노라. |

| 욥 13:4 |
|
But ye are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value. |
그러나 너희는 거짓말을 지어내는 자요, 다 쓸모없는 의사들이니라. |

| 욥 13:5 |
|
Oh that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom. |
오 참으로 너희가 모두 잠잠하면 얼마나 좋으리요! 그것이 너희의 지혜일 것이니라. |

| 욥 13:6 |
|
Hear now my reasoning, and hearken to the pleadings of my lips. |
이제 내 변론을 들으며 내 입술의 항변을 들어 보라. |

|
Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him? |
너희가 하나님을 위하여 사악한 말을 하려느냐? 그분을 위하여 속임수로 말하려느냐? |

| 욥 13:8 |
|
Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God? |
너희가 그분의 외모를 용납하려 하느냐? 너희가 하나님을 위하여 논쟁하려 하느냐? |

| 욥 13:9 |
|
Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye so mock him? |
그분께서 너희를 조사하시면 좋겠느냐? 혹은 한 사람이 다른 사람을 조롱하듯 너희가 그분을 조롱하느냐? |

| 욥 13:10 |
|
He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons. |
만일 너희가 은밀히 사람들의 외모를 용납하려 할진대 그분께서 반드시 너희를 책망하시리니 |

| 욥 13:11 |
|
Shall not his excellency make you afraid? and his dread fall upon you? |
그분의 뛰어남이 너희를 두렵게 하지 아니하겠느냐? 그분의 두려움이 너희 위에 임하지 아니하겠느냐? |

| 욥 13:12 |
|
Your remembrances are like unto ashes, your bodies to bodies of clay. |
너희의 기억들은 재와 같고 너희 몸은 진흙 몸과 같으니라. |

| 욥 13:13 |
|
Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come on me what will. |
잠잠하고 나를 내버려 두어 내가 말하게 하라. 무슨 일이 닥치든지 내가 당하리라. |

|
Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand? |
어찌하여 내가 내 살을 내 이로 물고 내 생명을 내 손에 두겠느냐? |

| 욥 13:15 |
|
Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. |
그분께서 나를 죽이실지라도 나는 그분을 신뢰할 것이요, 오직 나는 그분 앞에서 내 자신의 길들을 유지하리라. |

| 욥 13:16 |
|
He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him. |
그분께서 또한 나의 구원이 되시리니 위선자는 그분 앞에 나오지 못하리라. |

| 욥 13:17 |
|
Hear diligently my speech, and my declaration with your ears. |
내 말을 부지런히 들으며 내가 선포하는 것을 너희 귀로 들으라. |

| 욥 13:18 |
|
Behold now, I have ordered my cause; I know that I shall be justified. |
이제 보라, 내가 내 사정을 정리하여 제시하였은즉 내가 의롭게 될 줄 아노라. |

|
Who is he that will plead with me? for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost. |
나와 변론할 자가 누구냐? 이제 내가 잠잠하면 숨을 거두리라. |

| 욥 13:20 |
|
Only do not two things unto me: then will I not hide myself from thee. |
오직 내게 두 가지만을 행하지 마옵소서. 그리하시면 내가 주를 피하여 숨지 아니하오리니 |

|
Withdraw thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread make me afraid. |
주의 손을 내게서 멀리 거두시옵소서. 또 주의 두려우심으로 나를 무섭게 하지 마시옵소서. |

| 욥 13:22 |
|
Then call thou, and I will answer: or let me speak, and answer thou me. |
그리하시고 주께서 부르소서. 내가 응답하리이다. 아니면 내가 말하게 하시고 주께서는 내게 응답하옵소서. |

|
How many are mine iniquities and sins? make me to know my transgression and my sin. |
내 불법과 죄가 얼마나 많으니이까? 나로 하여금 내 범법과 내 죄를 알게 하옵소서. |

| 욥 13:24 |
|
Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thine enemy? |
어찌하여 주께서 주의 얼굴을 숨기시고 나를 주의 원수로 여기시나이까? |

| 욥 13:25 |
|
Wilt thou break a leaf driven to and fro? and wilt thou pursue the dry stubble? |
주께서 이리저리 흩날리는 낙엽을 부수려 하시나이까? 마른 지푸라기를 뒤쫓으려 하시나이까? |

| 욥 13:26 |
|
For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth. |
주께서 나를 대적하는 괴로운 일들을 기록하시고 또 나로 하여금 내 젊을 때의 불법들을 소유하게 하시나이다. |

| 욥 13:27 |
|
Thou puttest my feet also in the stocks, and lookest narrowly unto all my paths; thou settest a print upon the heels of my feet. |
또한 주께서 내 발을 차꼬에 채우시고 내 모든 행로를 면밀히 살피사 내 발뒤꿈치에 자국을 남기시니 |

|
And he, as a rotten thing, consumeth, as a garment that is moth eaten. |
그런즉 그가 썩은 물건처럼 또 좀 먹은 옷처럼 소멸되나이다. |
