Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said, |
그때에 수아 사람 빌닷이 응답하여 이르되, |

|
How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak. |
어느 때에 가서야 너희가 말을 끝맺겠느냐? 한계를 정하라. 그 뒤에야 우리가 말하리라. |

|
Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight? |
어찌하여 너희가 너희 눈앞에서 우리를 짐승으로 여기며 미천한 것으로 평하느냐? |

|
He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place? |
그는 스스로 분노하며 자신을 찢는도다. 그분께서 너를 위하여 땅을 버리시겠느냐? 또 바위를 제 자리에서 옮기시겠느냐? |

|
Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine. |
참으로 사악한 자의 빛은 꺼지고 그의 불꽃은 빛을 내지 아니할 것이요, |

|
The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him. |
광명은 그의 장막 안에서 어두워지고 그의 등잔불은 그와 더불어 꺼지며 |

| 욥 18:7 |
|
The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down. |
그의 힘찬 걸음걸이는 좁아지고 그는 제 꾀에 스스로 넘어지리니 |

| 욥 18:8 |
|
For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare. |
그는 자기 발로 인해 그물에 빠지고 또 올무 위를 걷는도다. |

| 욥 18:9 |
|
The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him. |
그가 발꿈치로 인해 덫에 걸리니 강도가 그를 쳐서 이기리라. |

| 욥 18:10 |
|
The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way. |
그를 노리는 올무가 땅에 놓여 있고 그를 빠뜨릴 함정이 길에 있도다. |

| 욥 18:11 |
|
Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet. |
두렵게 하는 것들이 사방에서 그를 무섭게 하고 그의 발걸음을 재촉하며 |

|
His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side. |
그의 기력은 굶주림으로 쇠약해지고 멸망이 그의 곁에서 기다리다가 |

| 욥 18:13 |
|
It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength. |
그의 살갗의 기력을 삼키리니 곧 사망의 처음 난 것이 그의 기력을 삼키리라. |

|
His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors. |
그가 확신하던 것이 그의 장막에서 뽑히며 그것이 그를 공포의 왕에게로 데려가고 |

|
It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation. |
그의 장막에 거하리니 이는 그 장막이 그의 것이 아니기 때문이라. 유황이 그의 처소 위에 뿌려지며 |

|
His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off. |
밑에서는 그의 뿌리가 마르고 위에서는 그의 가지가 꺾이며 |

|
His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street. |
그에 대한 기억이 땅에서 사라지고 그는 거리에서 이름을 갖지 못하며 |

| 욥 18:18 |
|
He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world. |
그는 빛에서 어둠으로 내몰리고 세상에서 쫓겨나며 |

| 욥 18:19 |
|
He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings. |
자기 백성 가운데 아들이나 손자도 없고 또 그의 거처에 남은 자가 아무도 없으리라. |

| 욥 18:20 |
|
They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted. |
그의 뒤에 오는 자들이 그의 날을 보고 놀라되 앞서 간 자들이 무서워한 것 같이 놀라리라. |

| 욥 18:21 |
|
Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God. |
참으로 사악한 자의 거처들이 이러하며 하나님을 알지 못하는 자의 처소가 이러하니라, 하니라. |
