Then Job answered and said, |
그때에 욥이 응답하여 이르되, |

|
How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words? |
너희가 어느 때까지 내 혼을 괴롭게 하며 말들로 나를 산산조각 내려느냐? |

| 욥 19:3 |
|
These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed that ye make yourselves strange to me. |
너희가 이같이 열 번이나 나를 모욕하였으되 내게 낯선 자처럼 행하고도 부끄러워하지 아니하는도다. |

| 욥 19:4 |
|
And be it indeed that I have erred, mine error remaineth with myself. |
참으로 내가 잘못을 저질렀다 해도 내 잘못은 내게 남아 있느니라. |

| 욥 19:5 |
|
If indeed ye will magnify yourselves against me, and plead against me my reproach: |
참으로 너희가 나를 대적하여 너희 자신을 높이고 나를 대적하여 내 수치를 말하려 할진대 |

| 욥 19:6 |
|
Know now that God hath overthrown me, and hath compassed me with his net. |
하나님께서 나를 뒤엎으시고 자신의 그물로 나를 에워싸신 줄 이제 알지니라. |

| 욥 19:7 |
|
Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment. |
보라, 내가 억울하여 부르짖으나 그분께서 내 말을 듣지 아니하시고 내가 크게 부르짖으나 심판이 없도다. |

| 욥 19:8 |
|
He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths. |
그분께서 내 길을 둘러 막으사 내가 지나가지 못하게 하시고 내 행로들에 어둠을 두시며 |

| 욥 19:9 |
|
He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown from my head. |
내게서 내 영광을 빼앗아 가시고 관을 내 머리에서 가져가시며 |

| 욥 19:10 |
|
He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he removed like a tree. |
사방에서 나를 멸하셨으므로 내가 사라졌도다. 또 그분께서 내 소망을 나무처럼 옮기시고 |

| 욥 19:11 |
|
He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as one of his enemies. |
또한 나를 향해 친히 진노하시며 나를 자신의 원수들 중의 하나로 여기시는도다. |

| 욥 19:12 |
|
His troops come together, and raise up their way against me, and encamp round about my tabernacle. |
그분의 군대가 함께 나아와 나를 치려고 자기들의 길을 쌓아 올리며 내 장막을 둘러 진을 치는도다. |

| 욥 19:13 |
|
He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me. |
그분께서 내 형제들을 내게서 멀리 떠나가게 하시니 내가 아는 사람들이 진실로 내게 낯선 자가 되었도다. |

| 욥 19:14 |
|
My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me. |
내 친척들은 끊어지고 내 친한 친구들은 나를 잊었도다. |
# |
| 욥 19:15 |
|
They that dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am an alien in their sight. |
내 집에 거하는 자들과 내 여종들이 나를 낯선 자로 여기니 내가 그들의 눈앞에서 외인이 되었도다. |

| 욥 19:16 |
|
I called my servant, and he gave me no answer; I intreated him with my mouth. |
내가 내 종을 불러도 그가 대답하지 아니하매 내 입으로 그에게 간청하였도다. |

| 욥 19:17 |
|
My breath is strange to my wife, though I intreated for the children's sake of mine own body. |
내가 내 몸에서 난 자식들로 인해 간청하였으되 내 숨결이 내 아내에게 낯설도다. |

| 욥 19:18 |
|
Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and they spake against me. |
참으로 어린아이들도 나를 업신여기고 내가 일어서면 나를 비방하였도다. |

| 욥 19:19 |
|
All my inward friends abhorred me: and they whom I loved are turned against me. |
내 마음속 친구들이 다 나를 몹시 싫어하며 내가 사랑한 자들이 나를 치려고 돌이켰도다. |

| 욥 19:20 |
|
My bone cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth. |
내 뼈가 살갗과 살에 달라붙으니 내가 잇몸만 가지고 피신하였도다. |

| 욥 19:21 |
|
Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me. |
오 내 친구들아, 너희는 나를 불쌍히 여길지어다. 나를 불쌍히 여길지어다. 하나님의 손이 나를 건드리셨느니라. |

|
Why do ye persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh? |
너희가 어찌하여 하나님처럼 나를 핍박하며 내 살로 만족하지 아니하느냐? |

| 욥 19:23 |
|
Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book! |
오 이제 내 말들이 기록된다면 얼마나 좋을까! 오 그것들이 한 권의 책으로 인쇄된다면 얼마나 좋을까! |

| 욥 19:24 |
|
That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever! |
그것들이 철필과 납으로 바위에 영원토록 새겨진다면 좋으리로다! |

| 욥 19:25 |
|
For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: |
내가 알거니와 내 구속자께서 살아 계시고 또 마지막 날에 그분께서 땅 위에 서시리라. |

| 욥 19:26 |
|
And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: |
내 살갗의 벌레들이 이 몸을 멸할지라도 내가 여전히 내 육체 안에서 하나님을 보리라. |

| 욥 19:27 |
|
Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me. |
내 콩팥이 내 속에서 소멸될지라도 내가 직접 그분을 보리니 다른 것이 아니요, 내 눈이 바라보리로다. |

| 욥 19:28 |
|
But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me? |
오직 너희는 마땅히 이르기를, 문제의 뿌리가 내 안에서 발견되었거늘 어찌하여 우리가 그를 핍박하느냐? 할지니라. |

| 욥 19:29 |
|
Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a judgment. |
너희는 칼을 두려워할지니라. 진노는 칼의 형벌을 가져오나니 이로써 너희가 심판이 있음을 알게 되리라, 하니라. |
