Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said, |
그때에 나아마 사람 소발이 응답하여 이르되, |

Therefore do my thoughts cause me to answer, and for this I make haste. |
그러므로 내 생각들이 나로 하여금 답변하게 하나니 이것으로 인해 내가 서두르노라. |

|
I have heard the check of my reproach, and the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer. |
나를 모욕하는 책망의 말을 내가 들었으므로 내 지각의 영이 나로 하여금 답변하게 하는도다. |

|
Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth, |
네가 이것을 알지 못하느냐? 예로부터 그분께서 사람을 땅에 두신 이래로 |

|
That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment? |
사악한 자의 승리는 잠시뿐이요, 위선자의 기쁨은 잠깐뿐이니라. |

|
Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds; |
비록 그의 뛰어남이 하늘들에까지 닿고 그의 머리가 구름들에까지 미칠지라도 |

| 욥 20:7 |
|
Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where is he? |
그가 자기 똥처럼 영원히 사라지리라. 그를 본 자들이 이르기를, 그가 어디 있느냐? 하리라. |

|
He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night. |
그가 꿈같이 날아가 버리니 찾을 수 없으며 참으로 그가 밤의 환상같이 쫓겨가리라. |

| 욥 20:9 |
|
The eye also which saw him shall see him no more; neither shall his place any more behold him. |
그를 본 눈도 다시는 그를 보지 못할 것이요, 그의 처소도 다시는 그를 바라보지 못하리라. |

|
His children shall seek to please the poor, and his hands shall restore their goods. |
그의 자녀들은 가난한 자들을 기쁘게 하려고 힘쓰겠고 그의 손은 그들의 재물을 돌려주리라. |

|
His bones are full of the sin of his youth, which shall lie down with him in the dust. |
그의 뼈들은 그의 젊을 때의 죄로 가득한즉 그와 함께 흙 속에 누우리라. |

| 욥 20:12 |
|
Though wickedness be sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue; |
그의 입이 비록 사악함을 달게 여기고 그가 그것을 혀 밑에 감추며 |

| 욥 20:13 |
|
Though he spare it, and forsake it not; but keep it still within his mouth: |
아껴서 버리지 아니하고 오히려 입 안에 가만히 물고 있을지라도 |

| 욥 20:14 |
|
Yet his meat in his bowels is turned, it is the gall of asps within him. |
그의 음식이 그의 창자 속에서 변하고 그 속에서 독사의 쓸개즙이 되느니라. |

| 욥 20:15 |
|
He hath swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again: God shall cast them out of his belly. |
그가 재물을 삼켰을지라도 다시 토하리니 하나님께서 그것을 그의 배에서 나오게 하시리라. |

| 욥 20:16 |
|
He shall suck the poison of asps: the viper's tongue shall slay him. |
그는 독사의 독을 빨며 독사의 혀가 그를 죽이리라. |

| 욥 20:17 |
|
He shall not see the rivers, the floods, the brooks of honey and butter. |
그는 강들과 홍수들과 꿀과 버터가 흐르는 시내들을 보지 못하며 |

| 욥 20:18 |
|
That which he laboured for shall he restore, and shall not swallow it down: according to his substance shall the restitution be, and he shall not rejoice therein. |
자기가 수고하여 얻은 그것을 돌려주고 삼키지 못하되 자기 재산에 따라 되돌려 주며 또 그가 그것을 기뻐하지 아니하리니 |

|
Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor; because he hath violently taken away an house which he builded not; |
이는 그가 가난한 자를 학대하고 버렸으며 자기가 짓지 아니한 집을 폭력으로 빼앗았기 때문이니라. |

| 욥 20:20 |
|
Surely he shall not feel quietness in his belly, he shall not save of that which he desired. |
분명히 그는 자기 배 속에서 평온을 느끼지 못하며 자기가 원하던 것을 지키지 못하리라. |

| 욥 20:21 |
|
There shall none of his meat be left; therefore shall no man look for his goods. |
그의 음식에서 남은 것이 하나도 없을 터인즉 아무도 그의 재물을 기대하지 아니할 것이요, |

| 욥 20:22 |
|
In the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every hand of the wicked shall come upon him. |
그는 자기가 가장 풍족할 때에도 궁핍에 처하리니 사악한 자의 모든 손이 그에게 임하리라. |

| 욥 20:23 |
|
When he is about to fill his belly, God shall cast the fury of his wrath upon him, and shall rain it upon him while he is eating. |
그가 자기 배를 채우려 할 때에 하나님께서 친히 맹렬한 진노를 그에게 부으시리니 그가 먹을 때에 그에게 진노를 비같이 쏟으시리라. |

|
He shall flee from the iron weapon, and the bow of steel shall strike him through. |
그가 쇠로 된 무기를 피할 때에는 강철로 된 활이 그를 쳐서 꿰뚫을 것이요, |

| 욥 20:25 |
|
It is drawn, and cometh out of the body; yea, the glittering sword cometh out of his gall: terrors are upon him. |
그것을 빼낸즉 그것이 몸에서 나오나니 참으로 번쩍이는 칼이 그의 쓸개에서 나오고 두려움이 그에게 닥치느니라. |

|
All darkness shall be hid in his secret places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle. |
온갖 어둠이 그의 은밀한 처소들 안에 감추어지리니 피우지 않은 불이 그를 삼키고 그것이 자기 장막에 남아 있는 그에게 해를 입히리라. |

|
The heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the earth shall rise up against him. |
하늘이 그의 불법을 드러내며 땅이 그를 대적하여 일어나리니 |

| 욥 20:28 |
|
The increase of his house shall depart, and his goods shall flow away in the day of his wrath. |
그의 집의 번영이 떠나가며 그의 재물이 그분의 진노의 날에 떠내려가리라. |

| 욥 20:29 |
|
This is the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God. |
이것이 사악한 자가 하나님께 받을 몫이요, 하나님께서 그에게 정하신 유산이니라, 하니라. |
