To the chief Musician upon Mahalath, Maschil, A Psalm of David. | The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. |
(마할랏에 맞추어 악장에게 준 마스길, 다윗의 시) 어리석은 자가 마음속으로 이르기를, 하나님은 없다, 하였도다. 그들은 부패하여 가증한 불법을 행하였으니 선을 행하는 자가 하나도 없도다. |

God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. |
하나님께서 깨닫는 자나 하나님을 찾는 자가 있는지 보시려고 하늘에서부터 사람들의 자녀들을 내려다보셨으되 |

|
Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. |
그들이 모두 물러가 다 함께 더러운 자가 되고 선을 행하는 자가 없나니 단 한 사람도 없도다. |

Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God. |
불법을 행하는 자들은 지식이 없느냐? 그들이 빵 먹듯이 내 백성을 먹으면서 하나님을 부르지 아니하였도다. |

|
There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them. |
그들이 두려움이 없는 곳에서 거기서 큰 두려움 가운데 있었으니 이는 너를 치려고 진을 치는 자의 뼈를 하나님께서 흩으셨기 때문이로다. 하나님께서 그들을 멸시하셨으므로 네가 그들로 하여금 수치를 당하게 하였도다. |

Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad. |
오 이스라엘의 구원이 시온에서 나오기를 원하노라! 하나님께서 자신의 백성의 포로 된 것을 되돌리실 때에 야곱이 기뻐하며 이스라엘이 즐거워하리로다. |
